BASIC ODEDIENCE - This involves the following aspects

Lead work - On the lead and off the lead.

Heelwork - To train your dog to walk in a controlled manner.

The sit - To sit by the side of the owner.

The down - To lie down by the side of the owner.

The stay - To stay in the sit or down position by the side or in the immediate vicinity of the owner even with distraction.

Sit / Stay - Owner leaves dog and returns to dog and dog must stay.

Down / Stay - As above.

Recall Dog - To return to owner when called whilst off the lead.

General good behaviour - Stop your dog jumping at people. Owner always being in control of dog.

Advanced obedience - Dog to retrieve article, control of dog from distance and down stay, owner out of sight.
